At what price did Bitcoin start?
The first Bitcoin transaction took place in January 2009, when the currency was still in its early stages of development. At that time, the value of one Bitcoin was essentially zero as it had not yet been widely adopted or traded. In its first few years, the value of Bitcoin fluctuated dramatically and was often valued at less than one dollar per coin. It wasn’t until several years later that the price of Bitcoin began to increase significantly, reaching a high of nearly $64,000 in April 2021.
